You’ll Have More Fun in Albania Than French Polynesia
Albania is a relatively small but fantastic country in the Balkans, very close to Macedonia. It’s one of the least visited countries in Europe but that is about to change as tourists start to take note of its amazing beauty. Without a doubt Albania has extraordinary, pure white sandy beaches, virtually untouched mountain regions, and young, changing cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are extraordinary. These beaches are generally white, sandy beaches although there are some pebble beaches also. You could if you like have fun in the hot sun on a towel or lease a sunbed, the decision is yours to make. Many of the beaches are virtually untouched by visitors and a few are so remote that you could be at the beach without anyone else, even in summer.
There are plenty of beautiful mountain areas in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are brilliant for skiing or hiking and you are able to visit a couple of waterfalls and spectacular lakes in the area. The mountains in that region are amazing to view but the other mountain regions are also spectacular.
Albanian cities are fun with a cafe culture meaning there are plenty of cool cafes to spend time in. Albania cities for example Elbasan are worth visiting to see the historic old city area and not to mention to visit a museum or two.
Without a doubt you will find that Albanians are mostly warm and will be happy to introduce you to their country if you take the time to visit.
