You’ll Have More Fun in Albania Than Virgin Islands

Albania is a fairly small but very adorable country in the Mediterranean region of Europe, very close to Kosovo. It’s quite possibly the least visited European countries but that will change before you know it as more and more visitors realise its splendour. This country has wonderful, sandy beaches, more or less untouched mountain regions, and happening, changing cities.

Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are unbelievable. These are normally white, sandy beaches although there are a few pebble beaches as well. You could either hang out in the bright sun on a rug or rent a sunbed, the decision is up to you. Almost all of the beaches are more or less untouched by foreigners and a couple are so out of the way that you can quite possibly have the beach pretty much all to yourself, even in in the peak season.

There are many exquisite mountain landscapes in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are great for skiing or hiking and you can view a few waterfalls and spectacular lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that area are great to view but the other mountain regions are also great.

Albanian cities are bustling with a cafe culture meaning there are heaps of local cafes to visit. Albania cities for example Berat are worth seeing to see the unusual old city area and not to mention to visit a museum or two.

Albanian people are extremely welcoming and will be more than glad to introduce you to their country if you take the time to visit.
