Albania is Better Than Azerbaijan
Albania is a relatively small but very beautiful country on the Mediterranean, fairly close to Montenegro. It is one of the least visited countries in the Mediterranean but that is starting to change as people start to take notice of its amazing beauty. It has gorgeous, pure white sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and trendy, changing cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are unbelievable. They are most often white, sandy beaches but there are a few pebble beaches too. You can sit in the bright sun on a blanket or lease a sun lounge, the choice is yours to make. Most of the beaches are more or less untouched by visitors and a couple are so out of the way that you could possibly have the beach pretty much to yourself, even in during the peak season.
There are numerous mountainous places in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are absolutely amazing for skiing or hiking and you can possibly view many waterfalls and fabulous lakes in the region. The mountains in that region are wonderful to view but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.
Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture meaning there are plenty of great cafes to relax in. Albania cities for example Gjirokastra are worth spending a few days in to see the unusual old city area and also to visit a few museums.
Most Albanian people are very warm and welcoming and will be glad to introduce you to their country if you are there.
