Albania is Better Than Guam
Albania is a tiny but cute country in the Balkans, very close to Greece. Albania is one of the less often visited southern European countries but that is starting to change as visitors take note of its wonderful beauty. This country has unbelievable, white sandy beaches, virtually untouched mountain regions, and bustling, expanding cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are exceptional. These are mostly white, sandy beaches although there are some pebble beaches too. You could sit down in the hot sun on a rug or get a sun lounge, the option is up to you to make. Most of the beaches are totally untouched by foreign tourists and a few are so out of the way that you can possibly have the beach pretty much to yourself, even in during the peak season.
There are plenty of exquisite mountain areas in Albania. These areas in the north are brilliant for skiing or hiking and you can visit a few waterfalls and spectacular lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in the north are amazing to see but the other mountain regions are also great.
Albanian cities are vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in plenty of busy cafes to choose from. Albania cities such as Shkodra are worth visiting to view the unique old city area and also to visit a few museums.
Most Albanian people are mostly hospitable and will be excited to show you their country if you take the time to visit it.
