Albania is a very small but fun country in the Balkan region, neighbouring Kosovo. Albania is possibly the least visited countries in the Mediterranean but that has already started to change as more tourists notice its wonderful beauty. Without a doubt Albania has wonderful, pure white sandy beaches, virgin mountain regions, and trendy, changing cities.

Albania’s white sandy beaches are gorgeous. These are normally white, sandy beaches but there are a handful of pebble beaches as well. You could either have fun in the hot dry sun on a towel or get a sun lounge, the decision is up to you. A lot of the beaches are totally untouched by foreigners and a handful are so remote that you could quite possibly have the beach all to yourself, even in during the peak season.

There are plenty of mountainous landscapes in Albania. These regions in the north are wonderful for skiing or hiking and you can possibly see a few waterfalls and amazing lakes in that part of the country. Those mountains are amazing to see but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.

Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture meaning there are plenty of great cafes to relax in. Albania cities such as Berat are worth taking the time to visit to visit the unusual old city area and not to mention to visit a museum or two.
