Albania is More Fun Than Macau
Albania is a fairly small but fantastic country in the Balkan region, neighbouring Macedonia. This country is one of the less popular European countries but that is changing as travellers notice its fantastic sites. Without a doubt Albania has extraordinary, white sandy beaches, almost virgin mountain regions, and happening, growing cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are lovely. They are mainly white, sandy beaches but of course there are a dozen or so pebble beaches also. You can if you like sit in the bright sun on a rug or pay for a lounge, the choice is yours to make. Plenty of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreigners and some are so quiet that you can possibly have the beach pretty much to yourself, even in in during popular times.
There are numerous beautiful mountain areas in Albania. The mountains in the north are wonderful for skiing or hiking and you are able to visit at least a couple of waterfalls and astonishing lakes in the region. The mountains in that area are wonderful to see but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.
Albanian cities are extremely lively with a cafe culture resulting in heaps of hip cafes to hang out in. Albania cities like Tirana are worth visiting to visit the historic old city area and also to visit a museum or two.
Most Albanian people are mostly hospitable and will be more than pleased to show you around their country if you take the time to visit it.
