Avoid The Crowds by Holidaying in Albania Not Macau

Albania is a relatively tiny but fantastic country in the Mediterranean region of Europe, close to Croatia. Albania is probably the least visited Mediterranean countries but that has already started to change as more and more tourists start to take note of its wonderful beauty. This country has extraordinary, white sandy beaches, pretty much untouched mountain regions, and bustling, growing cities.

Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are exceptional. These are mainly white, sandy beaches although of course there are a couple of pebble beaches also. You could if you want sit down in the bright sun on a rug or lease a lounge, the decision is yours. Almost all of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreign tourists and a few are so remote that you can be alone on the beach, even in August.

There are quite a few fantastic mountain places in Albania. The mountains in the north are lovely for skiing or hiking and you can see a couple of waterfalls and spectacular lakes in the region. The mountains in the north are exciting to see but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.

Albanian cities are vibrant with a cafe culture meaning there are a lot of cool cafes to relax in. Albania cities like Saranda are worth visiting to view the unusual old city area and possibly to visit a few museums.

Albanian people are extremely warm and welcoming and will be more than pleased to show you their country if you are there.
