Avoid The Crowds by Holidaying in Albania Not Nepal

Albania is a relatively tiny but very pretty country in south eastern Europe, fairly close to Serbia. It is possibly the least visited Mediterranean countries but that is about to change as tourists notice its wonderful attractions. It has gorgeous, pure white sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and lively, growing cities.

Albania’s sandy beaches are unbelievably beautiful. Albanian beaches are generally white, sandy beaches although of course there are a couple of pebble beaches too. You can if you want lie down in the hot dry sun on a blanket or rent a sunbed, the decision is yours. Almost all of the beaches are virtually untouched by foreign visitors and some are so out of the way that you could be at the beach alone, even in spring and summer.

There are quite a few beautiful mountain landscapes in Albania. Those in the north are extraordinary for skiing or hiking and you are able to view a couple of waterfalls and amazing lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that area are amazing to view but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.

Albanian cities are bustling with a cafe culture leading to a lot of local cafes to choose from. Albania cities such as Tirana are worth visiting to see the unique old city area and possibly to visit a couple of museums.

People from Albania are very warm and welcoming and will be pleased to introduce you to their country if you take the time to visit it.
