Don’t Visit Clipperton Island
Albania is a small but very beautiful country in the Balkan region, not too far from Greece. This country is probably the least visited southern European countries but that is about to change as more people realise its wonderful beauty. Albania has unbelievable, pure white sandy beaches, virgin mountain regions, and fun, improving cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are amazing. They are mostly white, sandy beaches but there are a dozen pebble beaches too. You could if you want spend time in the hot dry sun on a rug or pay for a bed, the decision is yours. Plenty of the beaches are totally untouched by visitors and a handful are so out of the way that you can quite possibly have the beach all to yourself, even in August.
There are numerous mountainous areas in Albania. Those in the north are amazing for skiing or hiking and you can possibly find a few waterfalls and perfect lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that area are amazing to view but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.
Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture leading to heaps of cool cafes to relax in. Albania cities for example Elbasan are worth spending a few days in to visit the historic old city area and possibly to visit a few museums.
Albanians are very warm and will be more than pleased to show you around their country if you are there.
