Don’t Visit Ghana
Albania is a relatively small but cute country in south eastern Europe, close to Croatia. It is one of the least visited countries in the Mediterranean but that will change before you know it as more travellers realise its wonderful sites. Albania has unbelievably beautiful, pure white sandy beaches, virtually untouched mountain regions, and vibrant, growing cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are extraordinary. These beaches are generally white, sandy beaches but there are a handful of pebble beaches as well. You can either sit in the hot dry sun on a blanket or get a sun bed, the choice is up to you. Most of the beaches are practically untouched by tourists and a few are so remote that you can possibly be alone on the beach, even in summer.
There are plenty of mountainous regions in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are wonderful for skiing or hiking and you can also visit a few waterfalls and spectacular lakes in the area. The mountains in that region are fabulous to view but the other mountain regions are also amazing.
Albanian cities are bustling with a cafe culture so there are huge numbers of hip cafes to visit. Albania cities such as Berat are worth taking the time to visit to view the historic old city area and not to mention to visit a couple of museums.
You are sure to find that people from Albania are extremely warm and welcoming and will be more than glad to present to you their country if you go there.
