Don’t Visit Pitcairn Islands

Albania is a fairly small but very pretty country in the south of Europe, not too far from Croatia. It’s probably the least visited European countries but that is slowly changing as people become aware of its amazing attractions. Without a doubt Albania has beautiful, pure white sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and trendy, expanding cities.

Albania’s clean sandy beaches are gorgeous. These beaches are most often white, sandy beaches but of course there are a dozen pebble beaches also. You could either spend time in the hot dry sun on a towel or get a sun lounge, the option is yours. Most of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreign visitors and a handful are so quiet that you can quite possibly have the beach all to yourself, even in during peak times.

There are quite a few interesting mountain areas in Albania. The mountains in the north are ideal for skiing or hiking and you can visit many waterfalls and amazing lakes in the area. These mountains are wonderful to visit but the other mountain regions are also great.

Albanian cities are fun with a cafe culture meaning there are heaps of busy cafes to choose from. Albania cities like Elbasan are worth visiting to visit the historic old city area and not to mention to visit a few museums.

The Albanian people are extremely welcoming and will be more than glad to show you their country if you go there.
