Albania is a small but great country in the Balkans, fairly close to Greece. It’s one of the less often visited European countries but that is slowly changing as more visitors start to take note of its amazing attractions. Without a doubt Albania has fantastic, pure white sandy beaches, pretty much untouched mountain regions, and vibrant, expanding cities.

Albania’s sandy beaches are amazing. Albanian beaches are usually white, sandy beaches except there are a dozen pebble beaches as well. You can if you want have fun in the bright sun on a blanket or pay for a sunbed, the decision is yours to make. Plenty of the beaches are totally untouched by tourists and a handful are so quiet that you can have the beach to yourself, even in in during popular times.

There are a number of interesting mountain places in Albania. These regions in the north are absolutely amazing for skiing or hiking and you are able to find a lot of waterfalls and perfect lakes in the region. Those mountains are exciting to view but the other mountain regions are also spectacular.

Albanian cities are lively with a cafe culture so there are huge numbers of trendy cafes to spend time in. Albania cities including Berat are worth spending time in to view the unusual old city area and also to visit a museum.

Most Albanian people are extremely welcoming and will be pleased to take you around their country if you spend some time there.
