Vacation in Albania Not French Southern and Antarctic Lands

Albania is a small but very adorable country in southern Europe, near Kosovo. Albania is possibly the least visited countries in the Mediterranean but that is most definitely changing as people realise its amazing beauty. Albania has extraordinary, white sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and trendy, growing cities.

Albania’s sandy beaches are exceptional. Albanian beaches are usually white, sandy beaches but there are a dozen or so pebble beaches as well. You can if you want hang out in the warm dry sun on a blanket or lease a sunbed, the choice is up to you to make. Almost all of the beaches are practically untouched by visitors and some are so remote that you could quite possibly be alone on the beach, even in in the peak season.

There are a number of mountainous regions in Albania. These regions in the north are great for skiing or hiking and you can find plenty of waterfalls and astonishing lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that area are exciting to view but the other mountain regions are also great.

Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture meaning there are so many busy cafes to go to. Albania cities for example Durres are worth visiting to see the unique old city area and not to mention to visit a couple of museums.

Most Albanian people are extremely warm and welcoming and will be more than glad to show you their country if you take the time to visit.
