Albania is a fairly small but fantastic country in southern Europe, not too far from Kosovo. It is possibly the least visited countries in southern Europe but that is about to change as more and more people start to take notice of its beauty. Without a doubt Albania has amazing, clean sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and bustling, changing cities.

Albania’s clean sandy beaches are exceptional. These beaches are mainly white, sandy beaches except there are a dozen or so pebble beaches too. You can if you like have fun in the bright sun on a towel or pay for a sun lounge, the option is yours. Plenty of the beaches are virtually untouched by foreign tourists and a couple are so remote that you could quite possibly be alone on the beach, even in in during popular times.

There are numerous fantastic mountain landscapes in Albania. The mountains in the north are lovely for skiing or hiking and you can possibly find a lot of waterfalls and pristine lakes in the area. Those mountains are fabulous to see but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.

Albanian cities are vibrant with a cafe culture so there are huge numbers of cool cafes to go to. Albania cities including Tropoja are worth spending time in to view the unique old city area and not to mention to visit a museum or two.

Most Albanian people are extremely warm and will be more than pleased to show you their country if you take the time to visit it.
