Vacation in Albania Not Sweden
Albania is a fairly small but fun country in the Mediterranean region of Europe, near Greece. This country is possibly the least visited countries in Europe but that has already started to change as more and more travellers realise its fantastic attractions. This country has unbelievably beautiful, pure white sandy beaches, virgin mountain regions, and happening, improving cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are unbelievably beautiful. The beaches are most often white, sandy beaches but of course there are a dozen pebble beaches as well. You could either lie in the hot dry sun on a mat or pay for a sun bed, the option is up to you to make. A lot of the beaches are virtually untouched by tourists and a couple are so quiet that you can quite possibly be alone on the beach, even in in the peak season.
There are a number of interesting mountain places in Albania. The mountains in the north are exceptional for skiing or hiking and you can possibly visit a couple of waterfalls and astonishing lakes in the area. The mountains in that region are fabulous to see but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.
Albanian cities are fun with a cafe culture meaning there are hundreds of great cafes to choose from. Albania cities including Fier are worth spending a few days in to view the unique old city area and not to mention to visit a museum.
You are sure to find that Albanians are very warm and welcoming and will be more than glad to take you around their country if you spend time there.
