Visit Albania Not British Virgin Islands
Albania is a tiny but very cute country in the Balkans, not too far from Montenegro. It’s possibly the least visited Mediterranean countries but that will change before you know it as more and more people take note of its wonderful attractions. This country has unbelievable, pure white sandy beaches, virgin mountain regions, and young, expanding cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are extraordinary. These beaches are generally white, sandy beaches although of course there are a dozen pebble beaches also. You could lie in the warm dry sun on a blanket or pay for a lounge, the option is yours to make. Many of the beaches are more or less untouched by foreigners and a number are so quiet that you can possibly have the beach all to yourself, even in August.
There are many interesting mountain places in Albania. Those in the north are ideal for skiing or hiking and you can view plenty of waterfalls and clean lakes in the area. The mountains in that region are exciting to see but the other mountain regions are also great.
Albanian cities are lively with a cafe culture leading to hundreds of local cafes to go to. Albania cities including Tirana are worth taking the time to visit to visit the unique old city area and also to visit a museum.
Albanian people are extremely welcoming and will be more than glad to take you around their country if you spend time there.
