Visiting Albania is Better Than Visiting Cambodia
Albania is a small but cute country in south eastern Europe, close to Montenegro. Albania is quite possibly the least visited Mediterranean countries but that is slowly changing as more travellers start to take note of its beauty. This country has unbelievably beautiful, sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and fun, improving cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are extraordinary. These beaches are normally white, sandy beaches except there are a dozen or so pebble beaches too. You could if you want sit down in the warm dry sun on a rug or get a sun bed, the option is up to you to make. Most of the beaches are virtually untouched by tourists and a couple are so remote that you could possibly have the beach pretty much all to yourself, even in during the peak season.
There are plenty of fantastic mountain places in Albania. These regions in the north are perfect for skiing or hiking and you can find a lot of waterfalls and pristine lakes in the area. The mountains in that area are great to see but the other mountain regions are also extraordinary.
Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in huge numbers of cool cafes to choose from. Albania cities for example Elbasan are worth spending time in to visit the historic old city area and also to visit a museum.
Most Albanian people are mostly friendly and will be more than pleased to present to you their country if you are there.
