Visiting Albania is Better Than Visiting Congo
Albania is a relatively small but very cute country in south eastern Europe, fairly close to Greece. It’s one of the less popular countries in southern Europe but that has already started to change as more visitors become aware of its fantastic sites. Albania has unbelievably beautiful, white sandy beaches, virtually untouched mountain regions, and happening, growing cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are wonderful. They are most often white, sandy beaches although of course there are a handful of pebble beaches also. You could if you want lie down in the hot sun on a blanket or pay for a sunbed, the decision is up to you to make. A lot of the beaches are really untouched by tourists and a handful are so out of the way that you could possibly have the beach pretty much all to yourself, even in spring and summer.
There are many interesting mountain places in Albania. These areas in the north are fabulous for skiing or hiking and you can visit plenty of waterfalls and amazing lakes in that part of the country. These mountains are great to view but the other mountain regions are also spectacular.
Albanian cities are fun with a cafe culture so there are a lot of trendy cafes to choose from. Albania cities including Durres are worth taking the time to visit to visit the unique old city area and possibly to visit a museum or two.
You will most likely find that Albanians are extremely warm and welcoming and will be pleased to show you around their country if you spend time there.
