You’ll Have a Better Vacation in Albania Than Greenland
Albania is a small but very pretty country in south eastern Europe, not too far from Greece. This country is probably the least visited Mediterranean countries but that is slowly changing as more and more travellers take note of its fantastic attractions. Without a doubt Albania has lovely, sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and bustling, improving cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are lovely. These beaches are normally white, sandy beaches except there are a few pebble beaches too. You can if you want have fun in the warm sun on a towel or get a sun bed, the choice is up to you to make. Most of the beaches are really untouched by visitors and some are so out of the way that you could quite possibly have the beach all to yourself, even in summer.
There are a number of interesting mountain regions in Albania. Those in the north are fabulous for skiing or hiking and you can also view plenty of waterfalls and spectacular lakes in the area. These mountains are great to see but the other mountain regions are also extraordinary.
Albanian cities are vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in huge numbers of hip cafes to hang out in. Albania cities like Tropoja are worth taking the time to visit to see the unique old city area and also to visit a museum or two.
You will most likely find that Albanians are extremely warm and welcoming and will be happy to show you around their country if you go there.
