You’ll Have a Better Vacation in Albania Than Italy
Albania is a very small but fantastic country in south eastern Europe, very close to Kosovo. It is possibly the least visited European countries but that has already started to change as travellers appreciate its wonderful sites. This country has beautiful, sandy beaches, more or less untouched mountain regions, and happening, growing cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are extraordinary. These are mostly white, sandy beaches although there are a handful of pebble beaches too. You can either spend time in the hot sun on a towel or rent a sun bed, the option is yours. Plenty of the beaches are really untouched by foreign visitors and a few are so out of the way that you could possibly have the beach to yourself, even in during peak times.
There are quite a few mountainous landscapes in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are fantastic for skiing or hiking and you can possibly view many waterfalls and incredible lakes in the region. The mountains in that region are brilliant to view but the other mountain regions are also spectacular.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture meaning there are huge numbers of great cafes to relax in. Albania cities like Durres are worth spending a few days in to view the unusual old city area and not to mention to visit a few museums.
Most Albanian people are mostly warm and welcoming and will be more than happy to present to you their country if you are there.
