You’ll Have More Fun in Albania Than Mongolia
Albania is a little but amazing country in the Mediterranean region of Europe, neighbouring Italy. Albania is quite possibly the least visited southern European countries but that is changing as tourists start to appreciate its beauty. Without a doubt Albania has gorgeous, sandy beaches, virgin mountain regions, and lively, changing cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are gorgeous. Albanian beaches are most often white, sandy beaches although there are some pebble beaches as well. You can either lie in the warm sun on a blanket or get a bed, the decision is up to you. Plenty of the beaches are pretty much untouched by tourists and a handful are so out of the way that you could have the beach to yourself, even in summer.
There are plenty of mountainous regions in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are exceptional for skiing or hiking and you can possibly view at least a few waterfalls and perfect lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that area are brilliant to visit but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.
Albanian cities are vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in a lot of busy cafes to visit. Albania cities for example Tirana are worth visiting to visit the unique old city area and also to visit a couple of museums.
You will most likely find that Albanians are extremely hospitable and will be more than happy to introduce you to their country if you are there.
