Albania is Better Than Man, Isle of
Albania is a small but very cute country in the Balkan region, very close to Croatia. This country is quite possibly the least visited countries in Europe but that is starting to change as more visitors appreciate its fantastic attractions. Albania has exceptional, sandy beaches, virtually untouched mountain regions, and vibrant, growing cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are exceptional. These are normally white, sandy beaches but of course there are a dozen pebble beaches also. You could lie down in the bright sun on a blanket or lease a sun lounge, the option is yours to make. Almost all of the beaches are really untouched by foreign visitors and some are so out of the way that you could possibly be at the beach alone, even in in the peak season.
There are numerous interesting mountain landscapes in Albania. These areas in the north are lovely for skiing or hiking and you can also view a few waterfalls and spectacular lakes in that part of the country. These mountains are fabulous to see but the other mountain regions are also amazing.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture leading to heaps of busy cafes to hang out in. Albania cities such as Kukes are worth spending a few days in to view the unique old city area and possibly to visit a few museums.
Albanians are very warm and welcoming and will be more than pleased to introduce you to their country if you spend time there.
