Albania is More Fun Than Korea, South
Albania is a fairly small but great country in the south of Europe, near Kosovo. It is one of the least visited countries in the Mediterranean but that is about to change as more people notice its fantastic sites. It has extraordinary, sandy beaches, almost virgin mountain regions, and vibrant, improving cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are amazing. These are mostly white, sandy beaches but there are a couple of pebble beaches also. You can either lie in the warm dry sun on a towel or hire a sunbed, the option is yours to make. Most of the beaches are really untouched by foreigners and some are so quiet that you could quite possibly have the beach to yourself, even in August.
There are plenty of beautiful mountain landscapes in Albania. These regions in the north are wonderful for skiing or hiking and you can also see at least a couple of waterfalls and incredible lakes in the region. The mountains in the north are fabulous to view but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.
Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in plenty of busy cafes to go to. Albania cities such as Tirana are worth spending time in to visit the unique old city area and not to mention to visit a museum or two.
