Albania is More Fun Than New Zealand
Albania is a very small but beautiful country on the Mediterranean, neighbouring Italy. It is one of the less often visited countries in Europe but that is most definitely changing as people start to take notice of its wonderful attractions. Albania has extraordinary, sandy beaches, virgin mountain regions, and fun, growing cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are fantastic. They are mainly white, sandy beaches except there are some pebble beaches also. You could if you like spend time in the hot sun on a mat or pay for a sun lounge, the choice is up to you to make. Most of the beaches are totally untouched by foreign visitors and a number are so out of the way that you could quite possibly be at the beach alone, even in in during popular times.
There are quite a few exquisite mountain landscapes in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are exceptional for skiing or hiking and you can see a couple of waterfalls and amazing lakes in the area. Those mountains are exciting to visit but the other mountain regions are also amazing.
Albanian cities are lively with a cafe culture meaning there are huge numbers of great cafes to go to. Albania cities such as Elbasan are worth visiting to see the unique old city area and also to visit a few museums.
You will most likely find that Albanians are extremely welcoming and will be more than pleased to introduce you to their country if you take the time to visit it.
