Albania is More Fun Than Taiwan
Albania is a fairly small but amazing country in the Balkans, near Montenegro. Albania is one of the less often visited Mediterranean countries but that is about to change as more and more visitors start to take note of its wonderful sites. Albania has exceptional, pure white sandy beaches, virgin mountain regions, and vibrant, changing cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are beautiful. They are normally white, sandy beaches but there are a couple of pebble beaches also. You can if you want lie down in the bright sun on a towel or pay for a sun bed, the decision is yours to make. Almost all of the beaches are really untouched by tourists and a couple are so out of the way that you can possibly have the beach to yourself, even in spring and summer.
There are quite a few mountainous places in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are ideal for skiing or hiking and you can possibly view many waterfalls and incredible lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that region are wonderful to visit but the other mountain regions are also amazing.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in a lot of local cafes to hang out in. Albania cities for example Gjirokastra are worth taking the time to visit to view the unique old city area and possibly to visit a museum or two.
The Albanian people are mostly warm and will be pleased to introduce you to their country if you are there.
