Albania is More Fun Than Turks and Caicos Islands
Albania is a fairly small but pretty country in the south of Europe, very close to Montenegro. It is quite possibly the least visited southern European countries but that is slowly changing as travellers appreciate its amazing attractions. It has amazing, white sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and young, improving cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are gorgeous. The beaches are mainly white, sandy beaches except there are a couple of pebble beaches too. You could if you like spend time in the warm sun on a rug or rent a sunbed, the option is yours to make. A lot of the beaches are practically untouched by foreign visitors and a couple are so remote that you can possibly have the beach all to yourself, even in in during popular times.
There are quite a few mountainous areas in Albania. These areas in the north are exceptional for skiing or hiking and you can possibly find at least a few waterfalls and spectacular lakes in the area. These mountains are great to visit but the other mountain regions are also extraordinary.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture leading to heaps of trendy cafes to spend time in. Albania cities such as Tropoja are worth spending a few days in to see the unique old city area and not to mention to visit a couple of museums.
