Holiday in Albania Not China
Albania is a relatively small but amazing country in the Balkan region, not too far from Macedonia. It is quite possibly the least visited countries in the Mediterranean but that has already started to change as more and more visitors start to take note of its fantastic sites. Without a doubt Albania has unbelievably beautiful, sandy beaches, pretty much untouched mountain regions, and happening, expanding cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are unbelievably beautiful. They are generally white, sandy beaches except there are a few pebble beaches also. You can either have fun in the bright sun on a blanket or hire a sun lounge, the decision is yours to make. Many of the beaches are practically untouched by tourists and some are so out of the way that you can possibly be alone on the beach, even in spring and summer.
There are many beautiful mountain regions in Albania. These regions in the north are wonderful for skiing or hiking and you can possibly view a few waterfalls and perfect lakes in the region. The mountains in the north are fantastic to see but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in plenty of great cafes to visit. Albania cities such as Fier are worth seeing to see the unique old city area and possibly to visit a few museums.
You will most likely find that Albanians are extremely warm and will be happy to show you around their country if you are there.
