Holiday in Albania Not Seychelles
Albania is a little but very pretty country on the Mediterranean, near Macedonia. It’s one of the less often visited Mediterranean countries but that is starting to change as people become aware of its wonderful sites. Albania has fantastic, sandy beaches, virtually untouched mountain regions, and young, improving cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are lovely. These beaches are most often white, sandy beaches except there are a dozen or so pebble beaches too. You could sit down in the bright sun on a mat or rent a bed, the decision is up to you to make. Most of the beaches are virtually untouched by foreign tourists and a few are so quiet that you can quite possibly be at the beach alone, even in during the peak season.
There are many interesting mountain regions in Albania. Those in the north are perfect for skiing or hiking and you can possibly view a lot of waterfalls and fabulous lakes in the region. Those mountains are fabulous to view but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.
Albanian cities are fun with a cafe culture meaning there are plenty of local cafes to spend time in. Albania cities like Fier are worth taking the time to visit to visit the unusual old city area and also to visit a museum or two.
Most Albanian people are mostly friendly and will be excited to introduce you to their country if you spend some time there.
