Vacation in Albania Not Togo
Albania is a relatively small but amazing country in south eastern Europe, near Italy. Albania is probably the least visited European countries but that is changing as travellers take note of its wonderful attractions. This country has extraordinary, sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and lively, changing cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are unbelievably beautiful. They are mostly white, sandy beaches but of course there are a few pebble beaches too. You could if you want have fun in the bright sun on a blanket or lease a bed, the decision is up to you to make. Many of the beaches are totally untouched by foreign tourists and a couple are so remote that you could quite possibly be at the beach without anyone else, even in in the peak season.
There are many beautiful mountain places in Albania. These regions in the north are brilliant for skiing or hiking and you are able to view a lot of waterfalls and fabulous lakes in the region. The mountains in that region are fantastic to see but the other mountain regions are also amazing.
Albanian cities are bustling with a cafe culture so there are hundreds of busy cafes to choose from. Albania cities such as Durres are worth taking the time to visit to visit the unusual old city area and not to mention to visit a couple of museums.
You are sure to find that people from Albania are very welcoming and will be excited to take you around their country if you are there.
