Visit Albania Not Midway Islands
Albania is a relatively small but great country in the Balkan region, neighbouring Greece. This country is one of the less often visited Mediterranean countries but that is slowly changing as people become aware of its splendour. This country has beautiful, white sandy beaches, virgin mountain regions, and young, expanding cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are exceptional. They are normally white, sandy beaches although of course there are a dozen pebble beaches also. You could if you like sit in the hot sun on a rug or get a bed, the option is up to you to make. Many of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreigners and a few are so out of the way that you can be at the beach without anyone else, even in spring and summer.
There are many mountainous places in Albania. These regions in the north are brilliant for skiing or hiking and you can also find many waterfalls and incredible lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in the north are fabulous to see but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.
Albanian cities are lively with a cafe culture resulting in so many hip cafes to relax in. Albania cities including Kukes are worth taking the time to visit to visit the historic old city area and not to mention to visit a few museums.
You are sure to find that people from Albania are extremely friendly and will be more than happy to take you around their country if you are there.
