You’ll Have a Better Holiday in Albania Than Atlantic Ocean
Albania is a small but very beautiful country in the Balkans, very close to Serbia. Albania is quite possibly the least visited Mediterranean countries but that has already started to change as travellers notice its amazing attractions. It has exceptional, clean sandy beaches, pretty much untouched mountain regions, and happening, growing cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are unbelievably beautiful. These are usually white, sandy beaches but of course there are a few pebble beaches as well. You could if you like lie in the bright sun on a mat or pay for a bed, the choice is up to you to make. Most of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreign visitors and a couple are so remote that you can be at the beach alone, even in summer.
There are numerous fantastic mountain landscapes in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are amazing for skiing or hiking and you are able to visit a lot of waterfalls and spectacular lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that region are fantastic to visit but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.
Albanian cities are vibrant with a cafe culture so there are a lot of cool cafes to hang out in. Albania cities including Tirana are worth taking the time to visit to see the unique old city area and also to visit a few museums.
The Albanian people are extremely friendly and will be happy to show you around their country if you spend some time there.
