You’ll Have a Better Holiday in Albania Than Germany
Albania is a fairly small but very pretty country in the Balkan region, fairly close to Serbia. It is probably the least visited countries in Europe but that is slowly changing as visitors start to take note of its fantastic attractions. It has unbelievably beautiful, pure white sandy beaches, more or less untouched mountain regions, and vibrant, expanding cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are unbelievable. The beaches are mostly white, sandy beaches except there are a couple of pebble beaches also. You can if you want hang out in the bright sun on a rug or lease a sunbed, the choice is yours. Most of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreign tourists and a few are so quiet that you could possibly be at the beach without anyone else, even in during the peak season.
There are numerous mountain regions in Albania. These areas in the north are absolutely amazing for skiing or hiking and you can also view at least a few waterfalls and fabulous lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that area are exciting to visit but the other mountain regions are also spectacular.
Albanian cities are vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in a lot of great cafes to spend time in. Albania cities such as Berat are worth spending a few days in to see the unique old city area and not to mention to visit a museum.
You are sure to find that people from Albania are very warm and will be more than happy to introduce you to their country if you are there.
