You’ll Have a Better Vacation in Albania Than Cyprus
Albania is a fairly small but fantastic country in the Mediterranean region of Europe, fairly close to Kosovo. This country is one of the less popular countries in Europe but that is slowly changing as tourists start to appreciate its wonderful sites. Without a doubt Albania has gorgeous, white sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and happening, changing cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are exceptional. The beaches are mostly white, sandy beaches although of course there are a dozen pebble beaches as well. You can sit down in the warm dry sun on a rug or rent a bed, the choice is up to you to make. Many of the beaches are pretty much untouched by tourists and a handful are so remote that you could possibly be at the beach without anyone else, even in August.
There are plenty of exquisite mountain places in Albania. Those in the north are amazing for skiing or hiking and you can possibly visit quite a few waterfalls and incredible lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that area are fantastic to see but the other mountain regions are also amazing.
Albanian cities are lively with a cafe culture resulting in heaps of busy cafes to visit. Albania cities such as Tropoja are worth visiting to visit the historic old city area and also to visit a few museums.
Without a doubt you will find that Albanians are extremely warm and will be happy to present to you their country if you spend some time there.
