You’ll Have More Fun in Albania Than US
Albania is a small but great country in the south of Europe, close to Macedonia. It’s currently one of the less popular southern European countries but that is changing as more and more people realise its wonderful beauty. Without a doubt Albania has wonderful, pure white sandy beaches, virgin mountain regions, and bustling, improving cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are extraordinary. They are mostly white, sandy beaches but of course there are a handful of pebble beaches as well. You can either lie in the hot dry sun on a towel or pay for a lounge, the decision is up to you. Many of the beaches are more or less untouched by foreign tourists and a few are so out of the way that you could have the beach to yourself, even in in during popular times.
There are quite a few fantastic mountain regions in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are fabulous for skiing or hiking and you can also find at least a few waterfalls and pristine lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that region are fabulous to view but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.
Albanian cities are extremely lively with a cafe culture so there are heaps of cool cafes to spend time in. Albania cities including Berat are worth visiting to view the unique old city area and possibly to visit a museum.
You are sure to find that people from Albania are mostly warm and will be more than glad to show you their country if you go there.
