Albania is Better Than Andorra
Albania is a small but very pretty country in the Mediterranean region of Europe, near Croatia. Albania is possibly the least visited countries in Europe but that is starting to change as travellers become aware of its wonderful sites. It has amazing, white sandy beaches, almost virgin mountain regions, and vibrant, improving cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are gorgeous. Albanian beaches are most often white, sandy beaches except there are some pebble beaches as well. You can sit down in the warm dry sun on a rug or rent a bed, the decision is up to you to make. Almost all of the beaches are more or less untouched by foreign visitors and a couple are so remote that you can quite possibly have the beach pretty much to yourself, even in during peak times.
There are a number of mountainous areas in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are perfect for skiing or hiking and you can possibly find quite a few waterfalls and clean lakes in the area. These mountains are exciting to visit but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.
Albanian cities are extremely lively with a cafe culture meaning there are many trendy cafes to hang out in. Albania cities such as Saranda are worth taking the time to visit to see the historic old city area and not to mention to visit a museum.
Most Albanian people are extremely warm and will be more than glad to show you around their country if you take the time to visit.
