Albania is Better Than Christmas Island
Albania is a relatively tiny but very beautiful country in the Balkans, fairly close to Greece. Albania is probably the least visited countries in Europe but that is most definitely changing as more visitors notice its splendour. Albania has wonderful, pure white sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and trendy, changing cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are unbelievably beautiful. These are normally white, sandy beaches although there are some pebble beaches as well. You can either spend time in the warm sun on a mat or get a lounge, the decision is yours. Almost all of the beaches are totally untouched by visitors and a couple are so out of the way that you could quite possibly have the beach to yourself, even in summer.
There are plenty of interesting mountain regions in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are brilliant for skiing or hiking and you are able to find at least a few waterfalls and astonishing lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that region are great to see but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.
Albanian cities are bustling with a cafe culture leading to hundreds of busy cafes to choose from. Albania cities including Vlora are worth taking the time to visit to view the historic old city area and not to mention to visit a museum.
You will most likely find that Albanians are mostly hospitable and will be more than glad to introduce you to their country if you are there.
