Albania is Better Than Gibraltar
Albania is a relatively small but amazing country in south eastern Europe, neighbouring Kosovo. It’s one of the less popular countries in southern Europe but that is most definitely changing as more visitors start to take note of its amazing beauty. Albania has beautiful, clean sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and vibrant, improving cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are unbelievable. They are mainly white, sandy beaches although there are a dozen or so pebble beaches also. You could if you want sit down in the hot dry sun on a blanket or hire a sun lounge, the choice is yours. Most of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreign tourists and a few are so out of the way that you could have the beach to yourself, even in spring and summer.
There are quite a few exquisite mountain landscapes in Albania. These areas in the north are brilliant for skiing or hiking and you can also find a couple of waterfalls and astonishing lakes in the region. Those mountains are great to view but the other mountain regions are also great.
Albanian cities are extremely lively with a cafe culture resulting in plenty of busy cafes to relax in. Albania cities including Fier are worth spending a few days in to view the unusual old city area and not to mention to visit a few museums.
Albanians are extremely warm and will be more than glad to introduce you to their country if you go there.
