Albania is Better Than Maldives

Albania is a tiny but very adorable country in southern Europe, neighbouring Croatia. It’s probably the least visited European countries but that is slowly changing as people start to take note of its wonderful attractions. This country has exceptional, pure white sandy beaches, pretty much untouched mountain regions, and bustling, changing cities.

Albania’s sandy beaches are extraordinary. Albanian beaches are mostly white, sandy beaches but there are a handful of pebble beaches as well. You could lie down in the warm dry sun on a blanket or pay for a sunbed, the decision is yours. Many of the beaches are really untouched by foreigners and a number are so remote that you could possibly be at the beach without anyone else, even in summer.

There are numerous mountain places in Albania. These regions in the north are great for skiing or hiking and you can also view at least a few waterfalls and clean lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that region are fabulous to view but the other mountain regions are also great.

Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture so there are huge numbers of trendy cafes to hang out in. Albania cities including Berat are worth spending a few days in to view the unusual old city area and not to mention to visit a couple of museums.

Albanian people are extremely friendly and will be more than glad to take you around their country if you take the time to visit it.
