Albania is More Fun Than Fiji
Albania is a small but amazing country in the Mediterranean region of Europe, not too far from Greece. This country is possibly the least visited countries in Europe but that will change before you know it as travellers start to appreciate its beauty. It has beautiful, clean sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and young, improving cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are fantastic. Albanian beaches are mostly white, sandy beaches except there are a handful of pebble beaches as well. You could sit down in the warm dry sun on a towel or get a lounge, the decision is up to you. Almost all of the beaches are practically untouched by tourists and a few are so quiet that you can quite possibly have the beach all to yourself, even in August.
There are quite a few mountainous areas in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are ideal for skiing or hiking and you can view at least a couple of waterfalls and astonishing lakes in the area. The mountains in the north are fantastic to see but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.
Albanian cities are bustling with a cafe culture leading to heaps of trendy cafes to go to. Albania cities for example Tropoja are worth taking the time to visit to visit the unusual old city area and not to mention to visit a few museums.
Albanians are very warm and welcoming and will be pleased to show you around their country if you spend time there.
