Avoid The Crowds by Holidaying in Albania Not Burkina
Albania is a little but pretty country in the Balkans, very close to Macedonia. This country is one of the less often visited countries in the Mediterranean but that is changing as more and more tourists start to take notice of its splendour. Without a doubt Albania has fantastic, clean sandy beaches, virgin mountain regions, and trendy, changing cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are extraordinary. These are mostly white, sandy beaches although there are a handful of pebble beaches too. You could either have fun in the hot sun on a mat or get a bed, the option is yours. Many of the beaches are really untouched by visitors and a number are so remote that you can quite possibly be at the beach alone, even in during the peak season.
There are many exquisite mountain areas in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are exceptional for skiing or hiking and you can also visit a couple of waterfalls and clean lakes in the region. These mountains are exciting to see but the other mountain regions are also extraordinary.
Albanian cities are lively with a cafe culture so there are so many cool cafes to choose from. Albania cities for example Berat are worth spending time in to visit the unique old city area and also to visit a museum or two.
The Albanian people are very warm and welcoming and will be happy to introduce you to their country if you go there.
