Avoid The Crowds by Holidaying in Albania Not Gibraltar
Albania is a relatively small but great country in southern Europe, close to Kosovo. It is probably the least visited countries in southern Europe but that has already started to change as more and more people become aware of its beauty. Albania has gorgeous, pure white sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and happening, changing cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are exceptional. These are mainly white, sandy beaches although there are some pebble beaches also. You could sit in the warm sun on a rug or hire a bed, the option is yours to make. Many of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreigners and a few are so quiet that you can possibly have the beach pretty much to yourself, even in in the peak season.
There are many mountainous regions in Albania. The mountains in the north are fantastic for skiing or hiking and you can also view at least a few waterfalls and amazing lakes in the area. These mountains are fantastic to visit but the other mountain regions are also amazing.
Albanian cities are fun with a cafe culture leading to huge numbers of local cafes to go to. Albania cities including Elbasan are worth spending a few days in to view the unique old city area and possibly to visit a museum.
Most Albanian people are mostly hospitable and will be glad to present to you their country if you spend some time there.
