Avoid The Crowds by Holidaying in Albania Not Holy See (Vatican City)

Albania is a small but fun country in the south of Europe, not far from Croatia. It is one of the less often visited countries in the Mediterranean but that has already started to change as more and more people start to appreciate its wonderful attractions. It has amazing, sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and happening, improving cities.

Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are wonderful. They are usually white, sandy beaches although of course there are a dozen or so pebble beaches also. You could have fun in the hot sun on a rug or hire a sun bed, the option is yours. A lot of the beaches are pretty much untouched by visitors and a number are so quiet that you could quite possibly have the beach to yourself, even in August.

There are quite a few mountain areas in Albania. These regions in the north are fantastic for skiing or hiking and you can also view at least a few waterfalls and clean lakes in the region. The mountains in that area are wonderful to visit but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.

Albanian cities are vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in a lot of cool cafes to choose from. Albania cities such as Fier are worth taking the time to visit to see the historic old city area and possibly to visit a couple of museums.

You are sure to find that people from Albania are extremely hospitable and will be happy to show you around their country if you spend some time there.
