Avoid The Crowds by Vacationing in Albania Not Turkey
Albania is a very small but cute country in southern Europe, near Serbia. This country is currently one of the less popular countries in the Mediterranean but that is most definitely changing as more tourists realise its wonderful sites. Without a doubt Albania has exceptional, white sandy beaches, almost virgin mountain regions, and fun, growing cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are amazing. The beaches are generally white, sandy beaches although there are a few pebble beaches as well. You can if you want lie in the hot sun on a rug or rent a sun lounge, the option is yours to make. Almost all of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreign visitors and a number are so remote that you can have the beach pretty much to yourself, even in in the peak season.
There are quite a few mountainous places in Albania. The mountains in the north are fantastic for skiing or hiking and you are able to find a couple of waterfalls and clean lakes in the region. The mountains in the north are brilliant to view but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.
Albanian cities are lively with a cafe culture so there are so many busy cafes to hang out in. Albania cities such as Gjirokastra are worth taking the time to visit to see the unique old city area and possibly to visit a couple of museums.
People from Albania are extremely warm and will be glad to introduce you to their country if you take the time to visit.
