Don’t Visit Ashmore and Cartier Islands

Albania is a relatively tiny but cute country in the Mediterranean region of Europe, very close to Serbia. It’s possibly the least visited countries in Europe but that is starting to change as more tourists take note of its amazing sites. Albania has fantastic, clean sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and young, improving cities.

Albania’s clean sandy beaches are amazing. The beaches are mainly white, sandy beaches but of course there are a dozen or so pebble beaches also. You can if you want hang out in the bright sun on a mat or lease a bed, the choice is up to you to make. Plenty of the beaches are totally untouched by foreign tourists and a few are so remote that you can be at the beach without anyone else, even in in during popular times.

There are numerous mountain regions in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are amazing for skiing or hiking and you can visit many waterfalls and perfect lakes in that part of the country. Those mountains are great to see but the other mountain regions are also great.

Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture so there are huge numbers of hip cafes to go to. Albania cities like Shkodra are worth seeing to see the historic old city area and not to mention to visit a few museums.

You are sure to find that Albanians are extremely welcoming and will be more than glad to present to you their country if you take the time to visit it.
