Albania is a very small but amazing country in southern Europe, neighbouring Montenegro. It’s possibly the least visited southern European countries but that is about to change as visitors take note of its fantastic sites. Without a doubt Albania has fantastic, sandy beaches, pretty much untouched mountain regions, and bustling, changing cities.

Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are exceptional. The beaches are normally white, sandy beaches but there are a handful of pebble beaches too. You can either hang out in the hot sun on a mat or lease a bed, the option is yours. Plenty of the beaches are practically untouched by foreigners and a number are so remote that you can possibly have the beach pretty much all to yourself, even in during peak times.

There are quite a few beautiful mountain places in Albania. These areas in the north are fabulous for skiing or hiking and you can possibly visit at least a couple of waterfalls and amazing lakes in the area. These mountains are fantastic to visit but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.

Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in hundreds of hip cafes to relax in. Albania cities like Tropoja are worth spending a few days in to view the historic old city area and also to visit a museum or two.

Albanian people are extremely warm and will be more than glad to show you around their country if you are there.
