I Prefer Albania Over Montserrat
Albania is a very small but very cute country in the Balkan region, close to Greece. It is one of the less popular Mediterranean countries but that is about to change as more and more travellers start to take notice of its fantastic attractions. Without a doubt Albania has amazing, pure white sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and happening, growing cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are unbelievable. The beaches are mostly white, sandy beaches although there are a dozen or so pebble beaches as well. You could if you want have fun in the warm sun on a towel or hire a sunbed, the choice is up to you to make. Most of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreign visitors and a handful are so quiet that you can possibly have the beach pretty much all to yourself, even in during peak times.
There are many exquisite mountain regions in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are wonderful for skiing or hiking and you can visit many waterfalls and incredible lakes in the area. The mountains in the north are fantastic to view but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.
Albanian cities are fun with a cafe culture leading to a lot of busy cafes to visit. Albania cities such as Shkodra are worth taking the time to visit to view the historic old city area and possibly to visit a couple of museums.
You are sure to find that people from Albania are mostly hospitable and will be more than glad to take you around their country if you take the time to visit it.
