Visiting Albania is Better Than Visiting Gibraltar
Albania is a tiny but great country in the south of Europe, very close to Serbia. Albania is probably the least visited countries in the Mediterranean but that is slowly changing as more travellers start to take notice of its amazing attractions. Without a doubt Albania has unbelievable, white sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and fun, expanding cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are unbelievably beautiful. These beaches are usually white, sandy beaches except there are a handful of pebble beaches too. You could if you like have fun in the hot sun on a rug or pay for a bed, the option is yours. A lot of the beaches are more or less untouched by foreigners and a number are so remote that you can have the beach pretty much all to yourself, even in during peak times.
There are a number of mountainous areas in Albania. The mountains in the north are fantastic for skiing or hiking and you can see plenty of waterfalls and clean lakes in the area. The mountains in that area are amazing to view but the other mountain regions are also extraordinary.
Albanian cities are vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in heaps of local cafes to hang out in. Albania cities including Tirana are worth spending time in to visit the historic old city area and possibly to visit a few museums.
Most Albanian people are mostly hospitable and will be more than glad to take you around their country if you spend time there.
