Visiting Albania is Better Than Visiting Uruguay
Albania is a fairly small but great country in the Balkans, not far from Kosovo. It is one of the less popular countries in the Mediterranean but that is starting to change as more and more tourists take note of its amazing beauty. This country has fantastic, white sandy beaches, more or less untouched mountain regions, and fun, expanding cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are gorgeous. Albanian beaches are mostly white, sandy beaches but of course there are a few pebble beaches as well. You can if you want have fun in the hot dry sun on a blanket or pay for a bed, the decision is yours. Almost all of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreign tourists and a number are so remote that you could quite possibly be alone on the beach, even in in during popular times.
There are a number of interesting mountain areas in Albania. The mountains in the north are fantastic for skiing or hiking and you can also see a lot of waterfalls and pristine lakes in the area. The mountains in the north are exciting to see but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.
Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture so there are plenty of great cafes to go to. Albania cities like Elbasan are worth visiting to see the unusual old city area and possibly to visit a museum.
