Albanian Hearts

Albania is a relatively tiny but amazing country in southern Europe, fairly close to Montenegro. It is one of the less often visited countries in southern Europe but that has already started to change as more and more people become aware of its splendour. Albania has unbelievably beautiful, sandy beaches, almost virgin mountain regions, and happening, improving cities.

Albania’s white sandy beaches are amazing. The beaches are mostly white, sandy beaches except there are a few pebble beaches also. You can lie in the hot dry sun on a blanket or lease a bed, the decision is up to you to make. Many of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreign tourists and a number are so out of the way that you could quite possibly be alone on the beach, even in summer.

There are many mountain areas in Albania. These regions in the north are exceptional for skiing or hiking and you are able to see quite a few waterfalls and clean lakes in the region. The mountains in that area are fantastic to view but the other mountain regions are also extraordinary.

Albanian cities are vibrant with a cafe culture meaning there are so many hip cafes to relax in. Albania cities for example Berat are worth visiting to view the historic old city area and possibly to visit a couple of museums.

People from Albania are mostly hospitable and will be more than pleased to take you around their country if you spend some time there.
