You’ll Have a Better Holiday in Albania Than Kazakhstan
Albania is a very small but cute country in the Mediterranean region of Europe, neighbouring Macedonia. It’s probably the least visited countries in Europe but that is slowly changing as people start to appreciate its fantastic attractions. Albania has exceptional, clean sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and lively, growing cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are extraordinary. Albanian beaches are generally white, sandy beaches but of course there are some pebble beaches also. You could hang out in the warm sun on a mat or hire a sun bed, the choice is up to you. A lot of the beaches are totally untouched by visitors and a handful are so remote that you could possibly have the beach all to yourself, even in during the peak season.
There are quite a few fantastic mountain landscapes in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are wonderful for skiing or hiking and you can possibly visit at least a few waterfalls and fabulous lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that area are brilliant to view but the other mountain regions are also amazing.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture so there are so many great cafes to choose from. Albania cities such as Berat are worth seeing to visit the historic old city area and possibly to visit a few museums.
Most Albanian people are very warm and welcoming and will be more than happy to show you around their country if you take the time to visit it.
